Poem: You And Me

YOU AND ME
2007040431 - c2007 WLL

I've a rock I lean upon
When I'm happy
When I'm down
And with the Light
Of the world upon me
I walk by your side
It's plain to see

That it's us, it's you and me
Our love is singing, soft and free
No place else I'd rather be
Than here with you, it's you and me

There are times I play at night
Absorbed within a place so dark
I regress
A moment lost in simple sadness
And then I'm back together
I look across the fields of green
Sunlight hits your face, I see

That it's us, it's you and me
Our love is singing, soft and free
No place else I'd rather be
Than here with you, it's you and me
